The game is a faithful Hexic remake with strong nostalgic appeal and straightforward gameplay. However, many reviews cite recurring issues: a new pastel color scheme that makes colors hard to tell apart and is disliked by colorblind players; a too-small board; missing modes/undo and hint controls; intrusive ads; and compatibility concerns with newer iOS versions.

Pros

Faithful recreation of the original Hexic with similar gameplay and feel.

Gets more colors way faster than I remember which increases difficulty quicker and I get bored…. But a lovely rendering of the game and I like having a game that only needs a little of my brain while listening to a book. I only play arcade mode

When I get to level 7, I’m out of moves, isn’t the board supposed to shuffle? It’s very disappointing when you have to start all over. Winning is the hardest as well.
