By simply answering a series of drop down selection criteria, the app will then make a specific tool suggestion and provide the proper feed rate and RPM for running the suggested tool. This app also includes a number of helpful calculators for variables such as chip load, rpm, and feed rate.

Tool diameter required
Material thickness
Type of cut (through cut, dado or both)
Also includes calculators for feed rate, rpm and chip load with metric conversion

I’d like to see a more complete selection of bits represented. 3/16” bits are not included. Still, this is a quick way to calculate feeds, rpm, etc for specific bits.

Did not work for me. I got my first recommendation. Unable to fin a back button. To make changes. Deleted it

This is great! Going save a lot time and phone calls to tech support. Not to mention prolong the life of my bits by getting the settings right from the start. Thanks Vortex
