The chinuk wawa language app offers language, practice games, and quizzes in everyday categories such as food, family members, colors, numbers, etc. It also offers a culture section that includes historical photos, basic Tribal history, and songs and stories in both chinuk wawa and English. We are excited to offer people everywhere a chance to learn chinuk wawa as well as learn a little bit about our Tribe.

App helps a lot with learning Chinuk Wawa but it seems like certain vocab words crash the app. It happens most often with the Quizzes for some reason. I think its probably related to IOS updates or something like that.

I am really disappointed, because I’ve used this app in the past. Now every time I try to use it, it just crashes immediately. I am trying to use the app to teach my 4th and 5th grade students some words in Chinuk Wawa, so I’m pretty bummed it’s not working. I’m hoping it gets fixed!
