Users overwhelmingly report a broken Subway app after a major UI update. Recent reviews

I have never had an easy time using this app. It’s always some error, or bug or something. Case in point: Just now I attempted to use the app to order two subs using the current app only specials. It seemed to work decently for once, though it could use an option to go back to the menu instead of just checkout after finishing one sub. When I got to the checkout, I tried SEVERAL times to check out with the card I had on file, only for it to error out each time. I tried redoing the order, I tried recreating the card in payment options, I tried entering in another card altogether, known working cards that I judged used to buy groceries, and still it errored out. Also it kept asking for the cvv, which kind of defeats the purpose of a saved payment method. Basically, this made me forgo a Subway sub, and definitely squashed my interest in using this app again without major changes.

You can’t even build your own sandwich, and it’s next to impossible to customize, so you have to pay for things on your sandwich you didn’t even want. There’s no search button for sandwiches, and it’s incredibly annoying to look for sandwiches from the limited options. Also, the “meal deal” includes chips and a small drink, even though it’s advertised as a medium, you have to pay extra for a medium. DO NOT GET THE APP!!
