You guys need to fix some glitches on the big update from awhile back

I used to love this app because it was dependable: would run in the background, even resume automatically if interrupted by phone call, video, etc. But now it stops if I do anything else at all, or even just press the side button to lock the phone. So I can lo longer depend on this app to record doctor visits, meetings, etc. So disappointing! And now I have to find another app. Please fix this!! Also, the playback audio quality is sometimes so bad it is impossible to understand what people are saying.
