We were constantly encouraged with advertisements to use the app to order food and I figured why not since we had a long journey and we’re pretty hungry. When I downloaded the app, it requested to choose our train which did not show up. Very unfortunate!

Given than the main use is on intercity trains, it really ought to handle poor internet connections gracefully. Nearly as bad, the design and user experience feels a decade out of date. Most of the time, it’s quite literally easier to walk to the gastronomy wagon than to order digitally. What a shame, as the WARS food and service is, in fact, quite good…too bad this app isn’t.

2021-12-30	Vo*****	I was riding EIP 4500 and the WARS was open and through the speakers passengers were encouraged to order using the app. Given the train was quite full, I wanted to order via the app but alas the train did not show up in the listing of trains with Open WARS service.
