The app works when running on compatible devices, offering easy control and video capture. However, it is plagued by long-term neglect: compatibility issues with modern iOS, broken sign-in and server-dependent login, camera/video settings crashes, and a lack of updates. As a result, many features and drone control become unusable, especially for newer devices or those requiring online authentication.

Pros

Easy to use and fun to fly with intuitive controls.
Provides the core flight controls and video capture features (recording videos).
When it works with supported hardware, the video feed is solid.

Cons

Not compatible with modern iOS versions; launches but doesn't function on newer devices (iOS 14+ / iOS 18).
Sign-in/login problems and servers shut down; cannot sign in, restore purchases, or authenticate (Missing Authentication Token).
Frequent crashes when accessing camera/video settings, making essential adjustments unreliable.
No longer updated or supported by Parrot for years; many features broken and some hardware no longer supported.
Core drone control depends on online login; with the login server down, drone control cannot be enabled.

Can not get my new out of box disco drone to connect! Do not recommend!

This app doesn’t work on modern iOS (18). It launched but doesn’t acknowledge my parrot 2 even connected to its WiFi. Thankfully I had an old iPhone 8 in a drawer and it worked fine on iOS 15.
