搵位 ("wan wai" — find a spot) shows you where to park near where you are actually going. Choose a destination, compare the car parks and on-street metered spaces around it on one map, then drive straight there.

PLAN THE PARKING BEFORE YOU DRIVE

Search any Hong Kong destination and see the car parks around it, ranked by distance and by vacancy you can actually use. Filter for private cars, motorcycles or light goods vehicles, height clearance, opening status, or car parks that publish live vacancy. Fees, opening hours, height limits and the official update time are shown whenever the Transport Department publishes them.

ON-STREET METERS, LIVE

Every metered space in Hong Kong is on the map. Where the Transport Department publishes live occupancy, a space shows as open or taken and refreshes about every minute. Where it does not, the space is marked as unknown instead of guessed.

AUTO PARK FINDER

Set it before you drive off and it locks onto the nearest open metered space, re-targeting on its own when that space fills. When you are ready to drive, it hands over to Apple Maps or Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.

REMEMBER WHERE YOU PARKED

Pin the car when you leave it, walk back to it later, and set a meter reminder so you are not collecting a fixed penalty ticket.

• Source: Transport Department open data published on DATA.GOV.HK — car park information, car park vacancy, on-street parking space and occupancy • When a feed goes stale it is labelled as stale, and Auto Park Finder stops rather than guide you with old information • Your location is used on your device to show where you are and find spaces nearby; it is not uploaded by this app • Availability estimates are ordinary statistics calculated on your device, not artificial intelligence and not a trained model
