Features & Capabilities

Twenty is a colorful arcade/puzzle game that starts at 5 and challenges you to reach 20. It's easy to learn but demands focus to go all the way. Try variations like Bubbles, Drop, and Flip-Flop to keep things fresh.

Zen mode relaxes, Panic mode tests your nerves, and TwentyTwo lets you race a friend in a two-player showdown to Twenty, stealing tiles and guarding your own.

User Reviews

Twenty is highly addictive and well-liked for its puzzle depth, ad-free monetization, and varied modes like Zen. It remains accessible and focused, but players note a grind to late-game scores, a wish for Zen options across all modes, and occasional bugs. The main tension is between its compelling, measured challenge and the friction of progression and monetization.
Pros
  • Addictive and engaging puzzle gameplay that keeps players coming back for long sessions
  • Ad-free experience with a one-time purchase to unlock all modes
  • Variety of modes including Zen and other variations, adding replayability
  • Easy to pick up and play and suitable for both quick sessions and longer play
  • Calm, focus-friendly vibe with optional dark mode
Cons
  • Long grind to reach late-game numbers, which can be discouraging
  • Desire for a universal Zen toggle across all modes and some flexibility missing
  • Some players dislike paying for additional modes or feel pricing could be clearer
  • Occasional bugs/crashes and UI glitches reported by users

So I’ve had this game for a while now, and I love it. My only hangup is that when you are in late-game numbers, every loss forces you to trudge through all the easy stuff again. The menu does give you starting options once you’ve cleared them, but those options are all under 1x 20. The funnest part for me is when the board is stacked and it’s a genuine logical puzzle, every move must be calculated for time and the shape of your board. But getting to that point often means spending half an hour(sometimes 45 minutes, depending on my score) just to get to that point. Beating a high score is gratifying, but putting an hour into this game just to lose one 20 before my high score discourages me from wanting to chase that high score(we all have things to do, even moreso when your time-killer kills too much time). Even if it started you out at, say, 5 or 10 twenties once you hit those scores, it would improve the game experience significantly for me. Maybe that’s just me though, I’m sure for others the sheer time required to get to that point makes winning more gratifying.
