The app enables solid remote thermostat control with PIN security and is praised as generally reliable when it works. However, recurring issues dominate: frequent sign-in/password resets, devices disconnecting or the app crashing, and inaccurate presence detection for multiple users. Onboarding friction includes ads and prompts to install another app, and many users want a dark mode plus more flexible scheduling (e.g., multiple saves, fewer daily limits). When the experience stays stable, it’s capable; the persistent reliability and UX problems drive most of the negative sentiment.

Recent reviews

This app would be just fine if it weren’t for one frustrating flaw. It doesn’t refresh automatically when you open it, and it provides no way to manually refresh. As a result, you’re likely to be viewing stale status left over from the last time you opened it. The only way to be confident in what it displays is apparently to force quit, then restart the app.
