User Reviews

Users like Google Slides for education and mobile presentation, especially templates and ease of use, but repeatedly report critical mobile flaws: inability to add media, white-screen presentation bugs, missing features versus the desktop site, and stability issues. These drawbacks outweigh positives for many students.
Pros
  • Great for teaching and education: lets you create slides and choose from templates.
  • Easy to use with a simple, intuitive interface.
  • Useful for presenting projects on mobile devices.
  • Helpful for school work and studying across devices (iPhone/iPad).
Cons
  • Inadequate media support: cannot easily insert photos or other media; image insertion often not available.
  • Presentations frequently fail: white screen when starting or presenting on mobile.
  • Missing features and outdated UI compared to the browser/desktop version; limited media/video support and few online image/video options.
  • Stability and performance issues: spinning loading wheel and app freezes/crashes.

I hate that you can’t add transitions or do advanced editing in the app. You have to have a computer which is massively inconvenient.
