User Reviews

Users largely praise Osmo Tangram Classic for being a fun, calming, and educational puzzle game for kids, with positive experiences when it works and occasional helpful support from Osmo. However, recurring issues across multiple reviews center on detection problems where tiles are not recognized or counted, frequent loading freezes and bugs, compatibility problems with newer devices and hardware, and the requirement to buy extra hardware to enable play. Some players also want more challenging levels. These reliability and hardware hurdles overshadow the otherwise engaging design.

Pros

Fun and engaging puzzle game for kids.
Calming, relaxing levels.
Generally enjoyable when software and hardware work.
Helpful support from Osmo (e.g., Owla).
Educational value and age-appropriate puzzle solving.

Cons

Shape detection and tile placement often not recognized or counted.
Frequent loading freezes, glitches, and other bugs.
Device/OS compatibility issues (iPhone/iPad, iOS versions, store compatibility).
Hardware dependency requiring an Osmo base and reflector to function (extra cost).
Lack of advanced/difficult modes and limited challenge for older kids.

Hello!I just want to say that sum times the game does not see the titles even though we adjusted the reflector so we’re pretty mad about it because we can not complete the level, which is a problem I that’s pretty big because I read the most helpful Reviews.so please fix.
