User Reviews

Users praise xSky for smooth zoom, object naming, reliable lock mode, and accurate position data, making it engaging and educational. However, stability issues (crashes) and perceived limited content detract for some, and accuracy reports are mixed. Overall, it’s appealing for quick sky viewing but needs fixes in stability and feature depth.
Pros
  • Smooth, fast zoom into celestial objects (planets, stars, galaxies).
  • Tells the names of the objects you’re viewing for easy identification.
  • Lock mode keeps targets centered and shows motion when not locked.
  • Accurate positioning data for planets/stars at given times (educational use).
  • Responsive UI with engaging visuals and audio cues (soundtrack).
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and stability problems on iPhone/iPad (crashes on startup or while using).
  • Limited content/educational depth for the price (some feel it isn’t worth the money).
  • Mixed reports on accuracy/coordinate alignment (some users see accurate positions, others report misalignment).

Was definitely not a mistake to download this. This is way better then most space apps, but I expected it needing your camera and you zoom in, turn down exposure, and then take a picture of a messier object with high quality. But this is good too. :P All I really suggest is a camera feature, you tap it and then you can zoom in and take high quality photos with the ability to turn down the exposure. That’s all I ask for, but thanks for the amazing app :P

This app lets you zoom in to the planets, stars, moons, constellations and dwarf planets. Although the planets are upside down but as I was saying, it tells you the names of the object your looking at. I highly recommend this app, also check out skyviewLite that one is good aswell Hope this helps!
