Only works when you don’t need it wortless

This app was working decent about a month ago. The recent update has made it virtually unusable. This app devours data now. I went from using 30-45mb a month in this app, to now using over 2gb a month on just this one app! This is an absurd amount of data usage for a single app that is used sparingly. It also has become very slow and unresponsive. The developers need to do something ASAP, I waited for years as this app release was repeatedly pushed back. It worked ok for a while, but now I am forced to quit using it because it sends me over my data limit. Fix this!!

It's nice that valley is making an attempt to make mobile apps, but this has not been a success. I've used it since it was first released and keep hoping for improvements. This app uses far more data than it should. It alone uses far more data than everything else on my phone combined and I am not even the main irrigation operator. They need to address this problem. Also not very responsive and sometimes not responsive at all. Would like to see more features (map view, better programming, etc.) and better history logs included as well. I have some experience with Zimatic's mobile system on rented ground and it seems to work better, but I personally use exclusively Valey pivots and feel they are the best. I just wish the app was on par with the pivots.
