User Reviews

Overall, users praise 1L for its comprehensive study tools, well-organized and up-to-date content, and mobile access that aids exam prep and potentially top grades. However, repeated crashes, pricing frustrations, content/UX glitches, and support hassles recur across reviews, making reliability and transparent pricing the main pain points.
Pros
  • Comprehensive study tools (lectures, outlines, flashcards, MBE questions, and hypotheticals) that many users find highly helpful.
  • Effective for exam preparation and helping users achieve top grades.
  • Content is well organized and up-to-date.
  • Mobile-friendly access allowing study on the go.
  • Perceived value or cost-effectiveness noted by some users.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and freezes; the app often won't open or crashes during use.
  • Pricing concerns: high cost, auto-pay, unclear upfront pricing, and difficulties canceling.
  • Content/UX issues: glitchy MCQ navigation, uneven question coverage across topics, and occasional lecture playback problems.
  • Support and account-management problems: unhelpful or slow support, login prompts on open, and cancellation issues.

App is unusable. It has crashed every single time I’ve tried to use it. I’m sure the content is good, but I’ll never get to find out. Will try again if that ever gets fixed, but not paying for something that doesn’t work ☹️
