Soccer Stars: Football Games

One of those games that in theory should be fantastic (and I wish it was), but just isn’t. I have a few issues but my biggest gripe is that 90% of the games turn into stalemates where the ball goes in the corner and no one wants to make the first move because it’s a disadvantage. I think something as simple as rounding the corners would do wonders. The game needs something to incentivize offense rather than allowing players to have four in goal and one on offense. The skill of the game is essentially just waiting for your opponent to make a mistake & leave the ball centered rather than having effective offense. I think extending the respawn zone in goal would also help to make the game more interesting and not allow people to have 3 in goal. Overall, great and fun concept, boring execution.
