User Reviews

Players praise the tense at-bats against challenging pitchers, realistic ball physics, and the addictive grind that can hold your attention for hours. The game’s unique blend of batting-focused at-bats with live pitching is a standout concept. However, several reviews flag missing features (no pitching mode; no batter viewpoint) and potential repetition at higher levels. Swing inputs can fail to register and strike-zone calls can feel inconsistent. Graphics and crowd variety receive mixed feedback. Overall, a compelling baseball sim with room for improvements.
Pros
  • Realistic at-bats against challenging pitchers with tense outcomes
  • Realistic physics of pitched balls and ball flight
  • Addictive, grind-friendly gameplay that can hook you for hours
  • Unique concept blending batting-focused at-bats with live pitching
  • Immersive crowd details and game atmosphere
Cons
  • No pitching mechanic / no pitching mode (only batting) – missing core pitching feature
  • No batter POV option; missing batting perspective/view
  • Grind can become monotonous or overly time-consuming at higher levels
  • Swing inputs occasionally fail to register
  • Inconsistent strike zone and pitch calls; some pitches aren’t recognized as strikes

My absolute favorite game right now. It takes the fun and concept of home run derby-type games and puts it into a situation where instead of hitting middle-middle BP balls you’re taking a live AB against a very challenging pitcher. This gives you the best of both worlds, the tension and challenge of the at bat are very real. The physics are very realistic and I could play this game for hours. Once you get a sense of the game you will be hooked on the grind.

I was looking for a good baseball game to simulate a batting experience and this one is a winner. It’s a fun game that gives some ability to select and time good pitches to hit. It could be even better with a few changes: -Provide a batter point of view option. This would definitely step the game up a notch. -Move the fences in - left field seems to be about 360-370 ft, power alley about 390-395. This is much further than an average MLB stadium. -Improve the calls on the edge of the zone. Could be the glove placement but some of those pitches on the upper outside and lower middle zone do not appear to be strikes. In a game where taking a strike can really make a huge difference this would be useful to tighten up. -The crowd details are great but they’re all identical young white men which then makes the details then seem awkward. There’s not one woman or person of color to be found - players too.
