iVUE AppSuite provides strong enterprise integration and field usefulness, especially maps (live/offline) and time/inspection workflows, plus solid NISC support and data interoperability with Mapwise/DocVault. However users report crashes, data sync and auto-refresh failures, removal of workflow features, time-entry glitches, and login/authentication friction, which hinder daily operations.

Robust mapping capabilities with live and offline maps for outage management.
Valuable field usability for time tracking, inspections, and outage data.
Solid enterprise support from NISC.
Seamless data interoperability with external tools (Mapwise, DocVault).

Cons

Crashes and stability issues on various devices and after updates.
Data syncing/auto-refresh failures, requiring reinstall to fetch new data and causing stale information.
Removal or alteration of key workflow features (e.g., map view under activities, add-to-inspection, outage tile) hindering daily tasks.
Time-entry inaccuracies and limitations (hours changing, inability to log time consistently).
Login/authentication friction (persistent OTP prompts, not saving login, 2FA logout).

Needs notifications. Needs option to sync over cellular. 2FA constant logout is insane.

Doesn’t save your login. Makes you wait for a code and THEN says invalid login eg. you just wasted a minute of typing and waiting for email. And it’s the most backwards login process that just wastes my time, so far away from industry standard login. Takes 30 clicks to update maps, horrible update process
