Features & Capabilities

Numerical² is the calculator without equals. Type a question and get your answer instantly—the app automatically inserts brackets as you type. It features a full scientific keypad (sin, cos, tan, EE, ln, log, sqrt, and more), a fraction key, and constants like Pi and E. Your history is saved to iCloud for syncing across devices, and the app is rewritten in Swift for speed.

Flexibility and polish are built in: landscape mode on iPhone, iPad Split Screen support, a keyboard you can install to insert results into any app, and a Theme Creator with 16 themes. You can hide the scientific keyboard, choose decimal precision, switch radians/degrees, and localise decimals. The Today Widget lets you calculate from Notification Center, and external keyboard support keeps you productive. For questions, contact verytinymachines@gmail.com. User Reviews

This update introduced feature regression in many ways. Perviously this app came with nice appearance and flexibility of theme changing. There was good multifunction feature in expanded surface and only miner lag as widget. Now new UI became so ugly and so limited options of themes, the lag of calculation in widget wasn’t optimized at all. What is the worth of the new version then? Very disappointed.

Why change something that’s not broken? This was the perfect calculator app. I wish there was an option to use the previous version. This one has navigation issues.

I have been using this for years instead of the built in calculator. This update is not good. The original colors and icons should be original for people that don’t want the change. I will not be using this app until it goes back to the original prior to this update. This is disappointingly been updated for no reason. The simplicity of the original is why I kept using it. People don’t like change.
