Users broadly value Climate FieldView for its comprehensive field management, weather data, mapping, and alerts, plus hardware integration. However, repeated issues with the latest update—loss of rainfall/radar history, login/register problems, stability crashes, and a simplified map view—greatly hinder usability. Rainfall accuracy concerns and notification features remain prominent themes. Overall, the app is powerful but reliability and data accessibility problems dominate the reviews.

Rainfall and weather data are core features (precipitation reports, current weather, 72-hour history in some views).

Rainfall data/history and radar features degraded or removed in updates (infrequent updates, inability to view past rainfall).
Registration/login problems (no place to register; password reset emails not sent; login failures).
App stability issues (crashes, won’t launch, license errors).
Map/UI changes reducing multi-field view to a single pin (difficulty viewing multiple fields, navigation limitations on iPhone).

Recent reviews

With the latest update they made it to where rainfall is only updated once every 24 hours and that is horrible. The old rainfall reports were much better.

I’ve been using this app since 2019 or so and the new update absolutely ruined the use of the app. I’ve downloaded another that works more like the way this one use to. Can no longer freely look at rainfall totals on your fields without waiting on a notification at 3am and can’t see the map coverage of rainfall in the past 24 hours anymore.
