User Reviews

Nicole is praised as a well-written romance mystery with unique, well-developed characters and multiple endings that reward replay. The one-time $6 price is viewed by many as justified, and the game is lauded for its story and production quality. However, several recurring issues dampen enthusiasm: perceived high price and gating to finish, ending and mobile progress bugs, and criticisms of its portrayal of toxic relationships. Some players also find certain endings hard to achieve due to stats requirements.
Pros
  • Worth the one-time price of about $5.99–$6 to unlock the full game
  • Engaging, unique characters with believable romance and character development
  • High replay value with multiple endings, including true endings
  • Strong overall production value (writing, atmosphere) that fans praised
Cons
  • Price is considered high by some players and may deter purchases
  • Paywall / need to buy to access the rest of the game and progress
  • Ending and mobile progress bugs (endings glitches, progress loss)
  • Portrayal of toxic relationships/anger issues that some players feel conveys unhealthy dynamics
  • Difficulty in obtaining certain endings or those requiring precise stats

I loved this game so much, I actually bought it to continue playing. It’s $6.00 to unlock the full game, but I for one thought it was worth it! I felt like I was a real student at college doing all the things I’ve never got to do. Spoilers maybe? I loved the story and while the characters all seem to have something toxic about them, as you get to know them, you see how they really are which are not bad guys (in exception to one in particular which I will not reveal) I chose Ted the guy that runs the convenience store. Despite what I’ve seen in other reviews people say about him and others, I enjoyed his character. I admire the hardworking men who are responsible, dependable and good with money. He was a pretty uptight character, but loosens up the closer you get to him. I’d MUCH rather choose a guy that’s a little cranky and uptight but down to earth than a guy that’s overly nice and fake. I play a lot of these types of games and I’m just not a fan of the overly nice “perfect at everything” guy. It was refreshing to play a character that was real where you can see they are not a bad person. I had an amazing story aiming for Ted in this game. I found his story to be very realistic and heartwarming. I highly recommend him for anyone who isn’t sure who to pick! Imo he seems to be the most decent guy out of the four. Darren seemed alright (black hair guy) but I’m just not a fan of the geek type. Plus, since all the other characters have some issue with them, I’m sure he does too. I actually think it’s fun working out these guy’s toxic personalities and watching things progress, but that’s just me. Anyway, overall, loved the game, developers! Ignore the haters, it’s a great game with a lot of effort put into it! One of the hidden gems I’ve found on the app store. 🙂

Why is it so difficult? I’ve played 5 times to try and get a good ending. ON EASY. This costs 6 dollars?

It was fun while it lasted but after so long of playing it we have to buy the rest? That part just made me upset I get you want people to be invested to buy it but just do it early on instead of getting the people who can’t pay it’s hopes up..
