Content Browser Mobile is inconsistently reliable. It offers live view and basic recording control on some Sony cameras, but suffers from frequent connectivity issues, low 480p video quality, and limited camera controls. The UI feels outdated and the app crashes at times. Not all models are supported, limiting professional use. Some users find it useful when it works, but the overall experience is plagued by instability and incomplete features.

1. It is a tedious process to connect 2. How can you monitor the camera with a resolution max of a astounding 480p image? If you can’t monitor above 480p? What is the point of even having a monitoring feature? We should at minimum be able to monitor at 720p resolution.

This application seems to have been entirely forgotten. The resolution of the video feed is far worse than with the Imaging Edge Mobile app. The UI and controls feel outdated. And, basic features in the Imaging EdgeMobile app aren’t there, like setting the camera date and time.

Once again, Sony’s amazing camera hardware is backed up by shoddy software. I really wish they’d grow their software engineering team and hire some competent programmers. This is the company that’s had a “Paint” option in their menus for who knows how many years, so that seems unlikely
