نشأت فكرة تطبيق الوصية الشرعية من استشعار ضرورة كتابة الوصية لمن كان له دين، ففي الحديث: "ما حق امرئ مسلم له شيء يريد أن يوصي فيه يبيت ليلتين إلا ووصيته مكتوبة عنده” وقد يتعذر هذا الأمر في هذا الزمان حيث تتغير الديون والحسابات والأملاك كل شهر أو ربما كل أسبوع فأقل. وعليه فيحتاج المسلم إلى طريقة يسيرة يدون فيها وصيته ويغيرها وقتما شاء ويشاركها مع من يثق به بكل سهولة ويسر.

بخصوص سرية البيانات: التطبيق يخزن بياناتك على الجهاز داخل حيز التطبيق بحيث لا يسمح لتطبيق آخر قراءة أو تعديل هذه البيانات، إذا كان جهازك مكسور الحماية (جيلبريك) فربما تصبح البيانات متاحة لتطبيق آخر صمم خصيصا لقراءة بيانات هذا التطبيق أو التطبيقات الأخرى. من ناحيتنا نتعهد ألا نرسل بياناتك خارج التطبيق سواء لموقع خارجي على الإنترنت أو لبريد إلكتروني أو لأي مكان. هذا التطبيق لا يحتاج الاتصال بالإنترنت إلا في حالة الضغط على موقع المطورين أو إرسال الوصية للشهود والذي تستطيع من خلاله مراجعة العناوين قبل إرسالها.

Wasseyapp (Last Will and Testament) offers an easy and intuitive way to write your islamic will. This includes debts, guardians, inheritance, missed rituals, funeral instructions and more. You can import names, phones and emails from Contacts, and add images from Photos as document proofs. You can also share the will via email or print it directly from the app. Finally, you can store your personal information, photo and signatures for yourself and the witnesses to be printed as is.

Note about data security: The app stores your sensitive information in the secure storage area provided by iOS that cannot normally be accessed by other apps. If your device is jailbroken, other apps may be able to read the stored information. The developers of the app take the security of your information very seriously and do not send any data to an external server or to any email address or anywhere. The app does not require an Internet connection unless you click on the developers website or when you send the will to the witnesses. In such case, you have the chance to review the email addresses before sending the will in the native Mail application.
