User Reviews

Users love the app for precise, comprehensive Jain calendar data and ease of use, especially in the USA. The main downsides are intrusive ads, location-specific data inaccuracies, upgrade-related licensing and restoration problems, and sometimes unreliable event notifications. Addressing data accuracy, ad experience, and notification stability would greatly improve the experience.
Pros
  • Timing data (tithi and choghadiya) is highly accurate and aligns well with USA time zones (e.g., navkarsi and chovihar timings).
  • The app provides a comprehensive, all-in-one source for Jain Panchang, including tithis, choghadiya, navkarsi, and chouvihar.
  • Long-term reliability and usefulness; many users rely on it for years and find it handy.
  • Information is easily accessible on mobile, giving quick access to the full set of Jain calendar data.
Cons
  • Free version is heavily ad-supported with intrusive, full-screen ads and mid-audio ads.
  • Data accuracy issues for sunrise/sunset/navakarshi and choghadiya timings in some US locations (e.g., Fremont CA, New York City).
  • Upgrade/UI changes can disable features or require re-purchasing; some restore issues after updates.
  • Notifications for events like tithi/kalaynak are unreliable or missing in newer versions.
  • Lack of Family Sharing support.

Choghadiya timings have to start from sunrise and end at sunset. Your choghadiya timings start at 12:29 am and end at 12:29 am. That’s incorrect. Please improve and change

Makes you watch ads and then crashes immediately so I can’t ever see what I want to see.
