Twelve years ago when I started using this software for two different companies, it was great. The people who did the development also did the customer service calls. Now it’s just a regurgitation crew who usually doesn’t figure out the solution before you do. And they like to say at their conferences how this software frees you up to run your business, but if you go out of the country, their security team locks you out of your own account until you come back. You call the aforementioned “support” and they tell you that you need to purchase a third party VPN to use their software. Can’t even look up a customer’s phone number. Completely locked out. There are lots of other issues, but basically it was sold out to a British investment firm, and you’re locked into their payment processor with no other choices. Better software would be Stop Suite, which we are moving to.

I’ve been using service autopilot for nearly 4 years and it has become worse every year. It is slow, sluggish, and often times doesn’t work after extended use. I have used it on both iPhone and android. I had an issue in 2025 where the app would frequently go into the “white screen of death” I call it. I would open the app while it is already open and it would just go white which then forced me to force close it and relaunch it. I’m pretty I spent at least 2-3 hrs of my total work time last year relaunching the app bc of this issue. I was told by the people who maintain the program that my iPhone needed to stay up to date on the latest iOS to mitigate this issue. To some extent they were right but it didn’t completely solve it. Kinda feels like I was a fed a line of bull so that they could avoid admitting their app is poorly optimized. I bought an android in late 2025 and the droid version of this app is even worse. It would pop up with error messages that require u to click ok to get past them and it wasn’t just one. It was a couple dozen and I had to click through each one. This would happen with nearly every picture I had taken until the app would crash. Then I’d spend more time reloading my board which also takes eons to load in and of itself. It was infuriating. The biggest issue this app has is that it gets slower the longer u use it. I think the app collects superfluous data over time and the phone loads that data over and over each time u launch the app and eventually it gets so bogged down with data that u as the user aren’t actively using that it just won’t load anything. I have to reinstall this app twice a year at a minimum to get it to function. I can’t prove that is what it is doing but that is my best guess. I am now on iPhone 17 pro and I haven’t had too many issues with this app thus far but it’s a brand new phone, I wouldn’t expect too many issues on newer hardware, older hardware, good luck. I still see the occasional error message pop up but it’s only one pop up thankfully. Would I ever recommend this app to anyone? Absolutely not, it’s terrible. If I didn’t have to use it for work, I would delete it in a heartbeat.
