The Othello delivers a deep, skill-building Othello experience thanks to a strong AI and rich feature set, including two-player play and move review. However, pervasive advertising and some UI/UX issues seriously hinder the experience, with ads often interrupting play or obscuring controls, and certain device UX limitations (like iPad landscape) reducing usability.

Cons

Intrusive ads after every game (often full-screen, sometimes unskippable) that disrupt play and lead users to delete the app.
Ads can cover UI elements or redirect to the App Store, interrupting the game.
Some UX annoyances include the need for multiple taps to start a new game and limited touch targets.
Lack of landscape support on iPad (no landscape mode).
