After a lot of trial-and-error, I finally found this one which is exactly what I was looking for: a ‘better’ version of the iPhone’s built-in calculator. Specifically, what I was looking for was: 1) show the calculation as you type (to avoid typos) 2) history tape (so much easier than Memory keys - although they’re available too) 3) ad-free, even if it costs a few dollars 4) no subscription purchases 5) not bloated with currency converters, unit converters (the same developer makes a great converter app, by the way), graphing, or other advanced features I don’t need 6) attractive interface 7) active development with frequent updates This app has it all! And the interface is even highly customizable! My search for a replacement calculator is complete.
