User Reviews

Many users praise One Minute Changes as an approachable, timer-driven tool that helps with chord-change practice and speeds, and note its clean interface and usefulness alongside Justin Guitar. Recurrent issues center on scoring (timer-only, not counting changes), unreliable audio alerts, limited library management (no delete/edit; ghost chords; occasional data resets), lack of long-term progress tracking, and uneven/chord-randomization behavior prompting requests for manual selection.
Pros
  • Helpful for practicing chord changes and increasing speed, especially when used with Justin Guitar course
  • Easy-to-use, clean interface, with free access
  • Timer-driven practice motivates consistent work and helps track session pace
  • Left-handed mode option and chord charts aid accessibility
  • Ability to add chords to a personal library for focused practice
Cons
  • Does not count chord changes; it only tracks timer seconds, so there is no true score
  • Audio alerts and timer sounds can be too quiet or unreliable; users want adjustable volume and alert types
  • Library management is limited: you cannot delete or edit chords, ghost chords may reappear, and updates can reset prior data
  • No built-in long-term progress/history view to see performance over time
  • Chord randomization is uneven; users want the ability to manually select chords or improve randomization

Just getting started and have found Justin’s style of teaching works excellent for my particular style of learning and pace preferences. His chord change app has been really helpful. I am so grateful I have found this and just started using it 2X a day. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
