Recent reviews

I have enjoyed Cradle of Empires for a long time, but I am very disappointed with the latest update. Since boosters were added at the beginning of each game, the levels seem noticeably more difficult and less enjoyable. I have no objection to in-game purchases when they add something worthwhile to a game I already enjoy. However, this update makes me feel that the difficulty was deliberately increased to pressure players into purchasing boosters. Instead of encouraging me to spend money, it has taken the enjoyment out of the game. The developers have every right to make these changes, but as a player, I also have the right to walk away. Unfortunately, that is what I have decided to do. I hope the developers reconsider these changes, because this was once a game I genuinely enjoyed.
