snappgrip is the hardware camera controller for iPhone 4S, 5/5S and 5C that brings the feel of a camera to your smartphone. Featuring a case with a removable control grip that connects over Bluetooth to your iPhone with buttons for:

shutter/focus
zoom
shooting mode

the grip is self-powered, rechargeable over USB and has an embedded tripod screw mount. The snappgrip case features a screw thread for optional add-on lenses.

its buggy. its great when it works, but it doesnt always work. its functionality is tied to a peripheral BT controller and thats where the breakdown occurs. it very well might be the controller, but you cant separate the 2. im going to contact the manufacturer and hope theres an update on the way. i would use it all the time if it worked consistently.

I learned about the Snapgrip hardware with the latest update to the Pureshot camera app-Pure shot will now work with the grip. I will consider buying it after some online research.
