Inputs: Spring Angle, Wall Angle, Corner Type (Inside or Outside), Corner Side. Outputs: Bevel Angle, Miter Angle, Edge to Fence, Side to Keep. Preferences: Compound Miter Saw Type (Left, Dual, Right) and Angle Type (Degree, Radian, Gradian). With just a basic understanding of installing trim this calculator takes ALL of the headache out of cutting your pieces for crown molding. (And if you’re confused by terms like fence, spring angle etc, the app tells you what each term means with a simple click over the word). And the image shows you the orientation of the saw to make sure your making the correct cuts. So much less waste compared to my previous crown projects before I downloaded this!

This is an awesome app. Figure it out and it works great.

Only takes consideration if you are laying the molding flat and with a compound miter saw. Typically crown molding is flipped upside down with your choice of inner or outer cuts. This app does not give you the choice to pick what your setup is. Useless app.
