  • Inconsistent or slow customer support, with some users unhappy about responsiveness or outsourcing.
  • Outdated or hard-to-navigate UI/ confusing configuration and notification issues.
  • In-call UI glitches: screen going dark, screens flashing, or keypad options disappearing.

This was my favorite phone app for my business until they started contracting customer service rep in India. The new updates on the app logs you out if you don’t use it in 24 hours which is annoying. Other than that it is still better than all other apps for a business line

Pick up the phone and no one is there. They can hear me but I can’t hear them. Cuts off for no reason and then takes forever to reconnect so I can’t hear call the person back.

Like other users, I experience operational discrepancies with this service. There’s a power spike when answering incoming calls which causes the screen to go dark. Support tells me that “the app does not access display functions” and denies responsibility. Message notifications do not disappear when msgs (or calls) are read. It’s a little game to tap here and tap there to remove the ‘new msg badge’ Correspondence in the VoIP is delayed (ok, some delay is expected). But when I make a call or receive a call, I expect to connect with the other party and this just doesn’t happen all of time. This service just isn’t reliable. I’m currently looking for another service to port over to because Phone.com doesn’t address the bugs that make their product functional. It’s not reliable and is often very frustrating to use.
