Lateral thinking - Word Game

“Lateral thinking - Word Game” is a game that exercises your mind and develops lateral thinking skills.

You have to put the words in a logical order to make the correct sequence and complete the chain. Every sequence has 9 words. The first and last ones are fixed. The other 7 are in a random order. The player has to change the order creating links between the words. In the correct sequence, each word forms a pair with another, i.e. the first word is linked to the second, the second to the third, etc.

The links between words may be logical or contextual. Here are some examples:

‘Rose’ is linked to ‘Bed’, as in a ‘bed of roses’. ‘Air’ is linked to ‘Port’, as in ‘airport’. ‘Bird’ is lined to ‘Stone’ as in the expression ‘kill two birds with one stone’. ‘Page’ is linked to ‘Paper’ because a page can be made of paper. ‘Romeo’ is linked to ‘Juliet’ because of the famous play. ‘Good’ is linked to ‘Nothing’ as in the expression ‘good for nothing’. ‘Paris’ is linked to ‘France’ because of its geographical association. ‘Love’ is linked to ‘Hate’ because they are opposites. ‘Wonderful’ is linked to ‘Fantastic’ because they are synonyms. ‘Hammer’ is linked to ‘Nail’ because of their logical use together.
