Locative is a privacy-aware location tracking app that uses Geofences and Beacons to trigger webhooks whenever you enter or leave a location. Each event notifies you of success or failure, and you can inspect the HTTP response status and retry requests as needed. The built-in Request Designer lets you customize payloads by adding extra properties or using built-in values, and you can share Request Designs with other household members.

Locative Pro offers additional features and is available as a monthly (3-day trial), annual (2-week trial), or lifetime purchase. The basic features are free, and Pro unlocks more capabilities. Terms of Service and Privacy statements are available on locative.app.

This app works great with many smart home hubs to allow reliable presence detection. And unlike some of the other options it does so without allowing all the other users on the same hub to track each other.
