To read details on these points of interest, either tap them directly on the map or choose "Find It" on the bottom of your screen, and then tap the relevant “Show” button. Definitely a unique app that I knew I wanted to go find and support as soon I read about it. On a first look at just the parts of the park I know best, it’s a mostly good experience - I do see some incorrect IDs (several mature juneberry trees shown as mulberry) and some very offputting content (super weird vibe in the Untermeyer Fountain description). If they would modernize the editorial approach and update at least the major features and statues that have changed since 2015, the app would be more accessible. But even as a time capsule, it’s still an interesting project.

This app is great for finding your way around Central Park even if you never use the info about trees. I use this app whenever I do birding in Central Park.

I’ve been a Volunteer in Central Psrk for 10 years. I’m in the park at least 6 hours every week. I know quite a bit about the park. Yet I find this app to be very useful. I use it often.
