The tracking functionality is great. But it gets only 3 stars since I am thiiiis close to choosing a different tracker because MMT makes it impossible to track a trip without fooling with one's phone CONstantly, if you want to listen to an audiobook or podcast or music at the same time. Here’s why: I use MMT while walking my dog, and I like to play something to listen to at the same time. If the dog stops for a sniff or a pee, or if we happen to be going too slowly for the gps to track our progress, MMT beeps in notification and temporarily stops tracking. Fine, fair enough. The problem is that every single time this happens, the notifying beep ALSO shuts off whatever music or audiobook I have going, and this doesn't start up again when tracking does; I have to manually restart it. Every.single.time. I have to dig out my phone, unlock it, open the audiobook or music app, restart the book or music, put the phone away again. This is every few minutes when you're walking a dog who likes to sniff. It's seriously ridiculous; I'm sure there are plenty of MMT users who listen to music or podcasts while on their run or walk or bike trip and would really love to just hit 'start' and 'play' and go. PLEASE make a setting to turn MMT tracking-has-stopped notifications OFF so they they don't interrupt the audio on the phone and result in a truly maddening user experience!
