TrustMyTribe

TrustMyTribe lets you easily keep track of your favourite businesses: plumbers, dentists, mechanics, accountants, etc. and create a shared directory of reliable business with your friends. Word-of-mouth recommendations are the most reliable, and TrustMyTribe means you can tap into the collective knowledge of your friends rather than rely on online review sites that are increasingly manipulated with fake and paid reviews.

1. Add your favourite businesses into your own personal directory and access these anywhere, anytime. TrustMyTribe is a great way to remember the business you’d use again and recommend to friends.
2. People you know do the same – this could include anyone you know well enough to trust: friends, family, workmates and others that you know (neighbours, parents at the kids school, your sports teammates, etc.).
3. TrustMyTribe combines your friends’ favourite businesses into a shared directory that you can search whenever you need a recommendation. It will also show you recommendations from friends of people you trust.

Using the app is so simple: find Facebook friends who are on TrustMyTribe that you want to trust. As soon as you choose to “trust” them you’ll be able to see their recommendations. You can also import your phone contacts and invite them to use TrustMyTribe. The more people you’re connected to, the more recommendations you see.

Want to recommend something? To Add a recommendation, simply search our existing database, and then Rate a business if you like it, or Slate a business if you want to tell your friends to avoid it. You can also just mark a business as OK, if it's a bit, average i.e. not the best but not the worst either.
