Perfect Drink is the first interactive cocktail mixing app that works with the Perfect Drink Scale to measure pours in real time and show the glass filling as you pour. It tells you exactly when to stop and automatically adjusts the recipe if you over-pour.

Beyond measuring, it helps you plan drinks with your cabinet in mind using the Cabinet feature to sort by best match, and it generates a shopping list for missing ingredients. Features include a drag-and-drop recipe editor, photo support, serving-size changes, and a My Menu for party planning. Recipes are created or taste-tested by professional mixologists, with new drinks continually added.

I tried a few and gave up. Finally came across this app because of its unique scale that works with it and I downloaded the app while I wait for my scale to come. Adding recipes was easy and intuitive, and the interface is clean and straightforward. Excited to use it more as I get more into craft cocktails!

The app hasn’t been updated for more than a year. When used with the current version of iOS(17.1.2) on my iPhone 13 Pro, it is only partially functional. For example, it will recognize that I have put a glass of ice on the scale, but it will not recognize the pouring of any ingredients. Works fine on my old iPad mini (2nd gen) with iOS 12.5.7, just not on devices with current iOS. I suppose it’s possible it’s an issue with using the lightning > headphone dongle? Or it may just need updating for compatibility with the current iOS. Update: Just tried with 17.1.2 on my regular iPad and it works fine, don’t appears to be an issue when using the Lightning to headphone adapter on devices without a headphone jack.
