User Reviews

Starfall is valued for being free with no ads and for classroom-friendly learning, plus a popular character-creation feature. However, users want more 4th–5th grade content, report stability and customization glitches, and feel it leans toward games over learning. Monetization confusion also appears. Overall, it’s a useful educational tool for younger children but needs content expansion and improved stability for older grades.
Pros
  • Free to use with no ads.
  • Educational content helps kids learn (e.g., multiplication).
  • Character creation/customization is a fun feature and users want it expanded for 4th and 5th grades.
  • Considered classroom-friendly and recommended for schools, parents, and kids.
Cons
  • Not enough content for 4th and 5th grades; more material is requested for those levels.
  • Frequent stability issues after updates and device compatibility problems (green screen, app won’t open on some devices).
  • Character creation resets or glitches when re-entering the app.
  • Perceived lack of learning value; many reviews feel the app is mostly games rather than educational content.
  • Confusion around free versus paid features and required sign-ups.

It goes out weekly and won’t let you log in or blocks the extra features you pay for with your subscription. Get your stuff together star-fail
