Features & Capabilities

Filterloop is a premium all-in-one photo editor that combines precise adjustments (saturation, contrast, hue, exposure, brightness) with a vast library of analog film textures—light leaks, emulsion textures, grain, and scratches—so you can craft authentic vintage looks or modern color grades.

You can layer effects with adjustable opacity, explore glitch art trends, share to Instagram, and develop your own editing style. The app offers a free trial and flexible subscriptions for Pro features.

User Reviews

Reviewers largely praise Filterloop for its broad filters and creative editing options, but repeatedly criticize the app for a heavy paywall and shifting pricing that limits access to paid content. Users report trouble restoring purchases, pricing confusion, and occasional technical problems (timeouts, slowness). Overall sentiment acknowledges strong filter quality but questions whether the paid model delivers sufficient value.
Pros
  • Large library of filters and overlays (variety of filters and textures).
  • Creative editing options with overlays and blend modes.
  • Some free filters available to use without paying upfront.
  • Overall positive sentiment about the filters and editing capabilities; many reviewers express love for the app's filters.
Cons
  • Mandatory subscription/paywall to access most features and content.
  • Difficulty restoring previous purchases after changes; paid features removed or moved behind a subscription.
  • Pricing confusion and reported charge differences (e.g., per-week vs per-month) and potential extra charges.
  • Technical issues such as connection timeouts when downloading filters.
  • Performance issues (slowness/bloatware) after updates.

This is for quick, sloppy, heavyhanded edits. If you're in the market for a professional photo editing app, let me save you some time and storage space: Filterloop isn't it. Calling Filterloop a professional tool is like calling a tricycle a Formula 1 race car – sure, they both have wheels, but that's where the similarities end. Filterloop may dazzle you with its array of pre-set filters and flashy effects, but when it comes to the nitty-gritty of true photo editing finesse, this app falls flat on its pixelated face. Trying to achieve professional results with Filterloop is like trying to sculpt a masterpiece with a butter knife – you're just not going to get the precision and control you need. If you're serious about your photography and demand top-notch editing capabilities, Filterloop will leave you feeling like you showed up to a black-tie event in a clown costume. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a tool that's truly up to the task. After all, your photos deserve better than a half-baked filter frenzy.

Loving this app for adding overlays and blend mode textures. However, when I click on a "download" filter option, I just get taken to a new page with an error message that says, "Warning: Connection timed out" so I can't access a large portion of app options. I'm a paid user, too. Would love some support on this! Thanks.
