My phone is an iPhone 7 Plus, and Telegram is one of the most widely used apps, and unfortunately I have to say it's the heaviest app in the App Store. If I want to watch a short series on Telegram, the phone gets so hot that frame drops and slowdowns are clearly noticeable, and even holding the phone in my hand isn't comfortable due to the temperature. The phone gets so hot that it feels as if you've been playing heavy games on it for hours. But the same video with the same specifications and size plays easily and without any problems in Safari. Or if you're watching a live video and the phone is charging, the battery level stays at a fixed number and doesn't increase, and the phone becomes so slow that it's frustrating. This is clearly due to the processor being stressed and higher power consumption, but does playing a video really require this much processing for the phone to become unstable? I hope this problem gets solved, or at least if possible, a lightweight version of this popular app be offered for older phones.
