User Reviews

User reviews show Qwirkle is enjoyable and often fun, especially for playing with friends online, and it’s a beloved board-game adaptation. However, performance is marred by frequent crashes at startup and during loading, and online multiplayer features are unreliable, with invites failing and delays in starting games. Aggressive AI in hard mode is another common complaint, with reports of cheating or unfair advantage. Social/invitation flows are described as clunky, making it hard to connect with friends. Overall, the game is loved when it runs, but stability and online flow need fixes.
Pros
  • Fun and engaging gameplay, especially with friends or family online.

  • Generally enjoyable and fun when the app runs smoothly.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes on startup or during loading, preventing the game from launching.
  • Online multiplayer setup and invites are unreliable; cannot connect with friends, invites stall or do nothing.
  • Unbalanced AI in harder levels; reports of cheating or unfavorable tile drafting for the computer.
  • Clunky social features, making it hard to find/add friends or accept invitations.

Played the physical game first but this is better! No ads! Learning mode when playing the computer with hints helps you improve your play. Customizable with choice of backgrounds and can even change the colors of the tiles or add a pip to them shows the designers kept colorblind & visually impaired folks in mind.
