The Travellers App

Find travellers going your way: join a plan, share a cab, or ask someone who has been there. See who is nearby on a live map.

The Travellers App is for people on the road and people planning to be. Find company for your plans, share a cab with travellers heading the same way, ask someone who has been there, and keep the places you have visited in one profile.

FIND YOUR COMPANY • Post a plan for a set day, or a tentative trip while your dates are still open. • Browse plans from other travellers and ask to join. • Hosts accept or decline requests, then confirm the trip. • Every plan has its own chat, with polls to decide things together. • On a place's page, see who else is heading there, and say "I'm heading here". • My plans keeps the plans you posted and the ones you have joined.

SHARE A CAB • Search for rides between two places and request a seat. • Share a cab of your own: set the route, time, seats and price per seat. • Accept riders, edit the ride, and see what changed after an edit. • Link a ride to a plan so everyone going can get there together. • Mark the ride complete and rate the people you travelled with. • Share a cab of your own: set the route, time, seats and price per seat, in any currency.

ASK THE COMMUNITY • Browse travel questions, and filter them by topic or by place. • Ask your own, and answer other people's. • Reply to answers and mark the helpful ones. • Drafts stay on your phone until you post them.

SEE WHO IS NEARBY • A live map of travellers who have checked in around you. • Place pins with tips left by other travellers. • Check in for a set time and let others ask to join you. • Trip Mode, for when you are travelling.

MESSAGES AND TRIP GROUPS • Message another traveller. A first message arrives as a request they can accept or ignore. • Start a group for a trip and invite people to it.

YOUR TRAVEL PROFILE • A photo, a short bio and the places you know well. • Visited Places: add a visit with photos, an itinerary and the people you went with. • Keep a visit to yourself, or share it.

SAFETY • Report any plan, question, answer, tip, visit or person. • Block anyone. They can no longer message you. • Delete your account from Settings at any time. • See and undo your blocks under Settings > Blocked people. • Report any plan, ride, question, answer, tip, visit or person.
