In a local market in İzmir, I saw two Japanese travelers trying to choose a pack of noodles. I tried to help. I could read the label, but I couldn't explain it to them. Then I noticed it again and again: travelers in front of products and menus, translating words, calculating prices. I thought there should be an easier way. So I built Owli, a small travel companion to help you understand what you see and know what you pay. Sometimes a simple idea starts with a simple problem. Mine started with a pack of noodles.

HOW IT WORKS

Point your camera at a product, a label or a menu. Owli reads it, translates it and shows the price in your own currency.

You can choose a 7-day Travel Pack (a one-time payment that does not renew), a monthly subscription or a yearly subscription. Every plan includes up to 30 AI scans a day and 500 a month. This is always your choice.

Owli is a helper, not a guarantee. For serious allergies or dietary needs, always check the original label and ask the staff. Prices in your currency are estimates based on recent exchange rates.

PRIVACY

Owli uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and fix crashes. You can turn this off in Settings. No account is needed. Basic scans never leave your phone. When you use an AI scan, your photo is sent only to read it. We don't store it. Your trip cart, Food Passport and history are stored on your phone, never on our servers.
