Neywo: Audio Walking Tours

Pick a walk, put the phone in your pocket, and each stop starts talking when you get there. Over a thousand cities, eleven languages, nothing to book.

Your own guided tour, already in your pocket. Pick a walk, press play, and every stop tells its story the moment you reach it.

Neywo is a free audio guide for exploring a city on your own: thousands of self-guided walking tours in over a thousand cities, researched, narrated and in your language. No booking, no meeting point, no group to keep up with.

WHY NEYWO • Free walking tours in over a thousand cities, every stop narrated • Hands-free: GPS starts each story as you arrive, phone in your pocket • Eleven narration languages, switchable mid-walk • Seven ways to see a city: walks, bus, bike, free roam, quests, a walk built for you, and walking together • No tickets, no schedule, no tour group

THREE WAYS TO BE GUIDED ON A WALK • Pocket mode: lock the phone and put it away. GPS keeps running in the background and each story starts on its own when you reach that stop. • Live tour: screen on, your dot moving along the route, the next turn and the distance to the next stop. • Full guide: no location needed. Every stop plays in order, wherever you are: on the train in, or on the sofa afterwards.

FREE ROAM No route, no order, no end. Wander wherever you like and every narrated place you pass tells its story once. Keep only the kinds of place you care about (churches, museums, parks) and the rest stays quiet.

QUESTS Hundreds of walks come with a riddle in front of each stop. The answer is out there, on a plaque or over a door. Find it and the story of that place unlocks. Each quest opens with an access code.

BUILD A WALK Say how long you have, and Neywo strings the narrated places around you into a route of its own.

WALK TOGETHER One phone leads and everyone else hears the same story at the same moment, each on their own earphones. Friends join with a code.

BY BUS AND BY BIKE Ride a real bus line or follow a signed cycle route: a short teaser as you come up to each place, and a countdown to your stop.

YOUR LANGUAGE, EVERY STOP English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and Chinese. Everyone in your group hears the full version, not the summary.

YOUR PACE, YOUR DETOURS Stop for a coffee, skip a stop, double back, walk the loop in reverse. The guide picks up where you left it, and you can switch modes mid-walk without losing your place.

YOURS TO KEEP Save the walks you want next. Your free Neywo account keeps your record: tours finished, stops heard, distance covered, and where you left off.

On a city break, travelling with family, or seeing your own town with new eyes, there is a walk for it. Every walk is free, and new cities are added regularly.

Pocket mode uses background location while a tour is running so stories can start with the screen off. Tracking stops when you end the tour. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
