ScanTally - Document Scanner

No account and no subscription. Straight scans, receipts that land in a spreadsheet, and every word read on your iPhone rather than in the cloud.

Scan a receipt and ScanTally reads it for you: shop, date, total, VAT and currency, ready to export to CSV or Excel. Scan a document and get a clean, searchable PDF.

SCANS THAT COME OUT STRAIGHT • A live readout shows how many degrees off square-on the phone is • Auto-capture fires only when the page is square-on and still, and Manual is always there • Clean, Colour and Grey finishes, and the torch for dim light • Drag the corners yourself for an exact crop • Multi-page PDFs you can reorder, turn, add to and trim

RECEIPTS THAT ADD UP • Shop, date, total, VAT, currency and category, read on the phone and easy to correct • Spending grouped by category, with each currency kept apart • Filter by month, quarter, year or tax year (where it applies) • Export as CSV or Excel, one PDF, or a zip with every file • Change a receipt's category whenever you like

FILES IN, FILES OUT • Add a saved image of a receipt or document and it's straightened and read like a scan • Turn Word, PowerPoint, Pages, Keynote, web and text files into PDFs • Pull the text out as Word, a web page, rich text or plain text • Turn pages into a PowerPoint deck • Add rows to a spreadsheet, always as a new file, never over yours

FIND IT AGAIN • Search names, shops and anything written on the page • Exported PDFs keep their text, so they're searchable wherever you open them • Files named from what they say, with the shop and the date, not Scan_0001 • Scans can show up in your iPhone's search, or not, as you choose • Start a scan from Siri, Shortcuts or a long press on the app icon

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up • Everything is read on your iPhone, and nothing is uploaded • No data collected

SIMPLE PRICING Try everything free for 3 days. After that, a one-time unlock keeps scanning and adding files going. No subscription. Whatever you've made stays yours to open, export and delete, unlocked or not.
