Lifey

Lifey keeps score for trading card games on a phone or tablet laid on the table between players.

Two players get one panel each, stacked, with the far panel upside down so it reads correctly from the other side of the table. Three or four players switch the app to landscape, with a choice of arrangements including a pinwheel where every seat faces outwards.

Big numbers, big controls. Tap either half of a panel to step the total, or hold it to run through a big swing in one press.

OPEN SOURCE Lifey is free, and the whole app is on GitHub for anyone to read, check or improve. No account, no adverts, no in-app purchases, no analytics, and no network access of any kind. Your totals stay on your device.

COMMANDER DAMAGE Each panel tracks what that player's own commanders have dealt, one tile per opponent, and takes the life off the opponent as you count it. Decks running partners get a tile per commander. A tile turns red at 21. A Dealt and Taken switch shows the same numbers from the other side, so anybody can check what they have taken from each commander.

COUNTERS Poison, energy, experience, rad, tickets and storm, all optional. Add your own counters too: name it, give it a short label, pick a symbol and a colour, and it appears on every panel.

SAVE YOUR TABLE Set the seats, colours, starting life, arrangement and counter sections once, then save it as your default. Lifey opens there every time.
