Impostor - Find the Liar

One phone. One secret word. One impostor.

Everyone at the table sees the same word — everyone except one player, who sees only a hint. Talk your way through the round, work out who is faking it, and vote them out. Or, if the phone hands you the hint, bluff until nobody is left to catch you.

HOW A ROUND GOES • Pass the phone round the table. Each player sees their role in private. • Say one word about the secret word. Too obvious and the impostor learns it; too clever and your own friends suspect you. • Argue. Accuse. Notice who stays quiet. • Vote — a secret ballot passed round the table, or a show of hands. Your table decides.

BUILT FOR A REAL TABLE • 3 to 12 players, one phone between all of you. • No account, no sign-up, no internet. It works on a train and in a cabin. • A round takes minutes. Learning the rules takes thirty seconds. • The phone never interrupts the argument — the argument is the game.

WRITTEN FOR YOUR TABLE, NOT TRANSLATED AT IT Thirty-one languages, and every one has its own words rather than a machine translation of the English ones. The hints are local: the thing you grew up with, the advert everyone remembers, the joke an outsider would not get. That is the difference between a round that feels written for your friends and one that feels imported.

PACKS Three packs to try free — Classic, Food and Movies & TV, 20 words each, plenty for a first evening. Four more to unlock: Places, Sports, Gaming and Memes & Internet. Take just the pack your table wants, or open everything at once with Impostor Unlimited — monthly, yearly or once for life.

FOR THE IMPOSTOR Hint mode gives you a single related word — enough to bluff with, never enough to know. Switch it off if your table likes it brutal.

Pass the phone. Find the liar.
