Fotoarchiv is the private photo vault for photographers: protected albums like the well-known vault apps, but built around the workflow behind the camera.

PROTECTED ALBUMS Protect every album individually with a password, Face ID or Touch ID. After several failed attempts, an album locks itself for a while. Optionally the whole app locks too, before the album list is even visible. Your photos live on your device and in your own iCloud only — never on third-party servers, no account, no tracking.

TIDY UP YOUR IPHONE AND IPAD Thousands of photos in your library and nothing to be found? Bring them from the Photos library of your iPhone or iPad into albums of your own — by job, shoot or year, with batch renaming, drag-and-drop ordering and a trash. The app only ever copies; what happens in your library afterwards is up to you.

RAW AND MEMORY CARDS Import straight from your camera's memory card or from the Photos library — as RAW, as JPG/HEIC, or both at once. The common RAW formats are supported: CR3 and CR2 (Canon), NEF (Nikon), ARW (Sony), RAF (Fujifilm), ORF (Olympus and OM System), RW2 (Panasonic), PEF (Pentax), DNG and Apple ProRAW — which camera models can be read is down to iOS. RAW and JPG of the same shot are kept together as one photo, and your originals are only ever copied, never altered.

EDIT ELSEWHERE, BACK AUTOMATICALLY Develop your photos in the editing app of your choice: “Edit in another app” hands them over, and “Find edited photos” finds the saved version in your Photos library. It then sits right next to the original, marked with a slider icon. Presentations and shares automatically show the edited version, optionally with the original right before it for comparison.

SELECT AND PRESENT Work through your shots in the filmstrip and star the best ones. That selection is exactly what you show in presentation mode: on the device itself and therefore fully offline, via AirPlay on a TV, or on a connected external display — with your own title and your contact details in the footer. If you like, it runs as a slideshow at 3 to 12 seconds per photo.

SHARE WITH CLIENTS Share your selection as a presentation: a single file with a slideshow, filmstrip and photo names, kept on your own iCloud Drive — no third-party server. If you like, every photo carries your logo; you set corner, size and opacity with a live preview. The app creates the link and sends it with a ready-made mail text. Your client opens it in the browser on any device — iPhone, Android or Windows — without the app and without signing in to iCloud. The link is valid for 30 days. Under “Published” you see every link you've sent with its expiry date, photo count and size.

CONTACT SHEET AS A PDF Turn any album into a contact sheet on A4: with a title, the photo names, your footer, your logo if you like, and boxes to tick. Four layouts, from compact with 24 photos per page to a client selection with 6 large ones, plus a landscape sheet. The PDF is made on the device and goes to your clients by mail, messenger or AirDrop — or straight to the printer.

BACK UP AND RESTORE Back up each album individually to your private iCloud — all photos or only the starred ones, RAW, converted, or both. After a backup the app tells you whether every photo arrived. Delete an album and it asks whether the backup should stay; from there one tap brings it back to the device, including its password protection.
