TapSay is a phrasebook built for the three seconds when you actually need it — at a taxi window, a pharmacy counter, a market stall. Everything in the core app runs offline on your device, so it works on a dead SIM, on a plane, or in a country where your usual translation app is blocked.

NUMBERS AND PRICES A built-in numeric keypad speaks any amount out loud, so you can agree a fare or haggle over a price without writing on your hand.

TWO-WAY CONVERSATION Ask a question and the screen offers answers the other person can tap, so you understand the reply without having to read a language you don't know. Manual mode gives each of you a panel and a microphone: speak or type, then hand the phone over. Flip the display 180° so they read it the right way up.

MADE TO BE READ ACROSS A COUNTER Large text, a display-only mode for quiet places, an adjustable speech rate, long-press to repeat slowly, and louder-than-normal audio for a noisy street.

YOUR OWN PHRASES Save your hotel address, your medication, your usual order. On iOS 18 they can be translated on device, still with no network.

SIMPLE PRICING 20 taps a day, free, in every mode. Unlock unlimited use with a single one-time purchase — no subscription. Merchants who use it all day can choose a monthly plan instead.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no ads. The app does not send what you say to anyone. There is no profile of you to sell.
